uggggh! i can't wait to officially say goodbye! i've been planning on leaving right now for about 2 years, i'm so glad it's finally here, but things are just getting completely unbearable there. the scam calls are WAY up because call volume in general has been so down, and the scammers have basically completely abandoned giving any criteria during the calls. it's so frustrating, because the only way i can stop something from going through is changing the letters around in an email address, but i know the scammer is just gonna call back with a new, naive opr and get everything done correctly... anyway, apparently it's time for people to leave relay (at least, at the madison center). one of the supes last days is friday, and another one leaves in october... two operators who have been there 2+ years quit last week, and several other people will be quitting in the next few months. it's always so nice to see people move on! i'm happy i get to leave... but frustrated at the same time... because it's one less opr trying to fight this crap. i'm so sorry i've been MIA lately! i am moving in less than a month to the pacific northwest, so my life has just been completely upside down the past few months... in a good way.

Make sure that your last couple of days are rip-roaring good ones! I fully expect you to do some really heinous things to Nigerians and prankers and rude deafies! I know I totally would, given the opportunity (what am I saying...I did those things anyway.) But make it memorable

Congratulations oprhere on your impending freedom! Make sure you go out with a bang. I know I sure as hell will when that day finally comes when I tell the useless fucks that I'm heading to greener pastures. Right now there's nothing I hate more in life than relay.



So your center is losing a few people now. Our center has pretty much been decimated. We had 130 oprs last summer. Then CSD did away with our set schedules and started scheduling people whenever the hell they felt like it. That, combined with numerous horrendous changes, has caused a few oprs to leave. We had two more quit this week, bringing our count now down to 60. And since January of this year, three supervisors have left. We're really hurting in our center.

My brother (the one who posts here and still has a job) put it best today when someone at work asked about me. My brother said that I'm better off now.



I'm better off without having a job then working at CSD. Hell Yah!



If I didnt get fired, I would still be working the same shiity place, loving my job but hating the people, and I wouldnt have the courage to quit. Thank Gawd for little supervisors that want to feel all powerful, and blatantly break FCC regulations (u know that thing about not having a record of the conversation after the call drops out of the station) to get people fired.

Hey Newopp-  You got a transcript of a call as a basis of firing you?  Was it on paper?  If so, I'd be calling SOMEONE about that.  You'd know better than I would who you should call, but that's a blatant violation of the FCC rules on confidentiality.
