You may remember that the thought to move the forum to a new location was (sadly IMO) rejected again. At the time this decision was made, fwadmin had already purchased a domain-name via his reseller account. I thought that it's pointless not to use it and asked him to redirect it to this forum's url.You can access the foum in the future viawww.relayscams.orgATM, it points to the former server where the new board was supposed to stay but this will change when the dns servers interlink with each other (in the next 24-48 hours or so).The registration runs out in February 2009.

I guess coming as a now former operator, I don't want to see these forums just become about Fraud when there are a LOT of other issues in relay that this board helps operators think about, vent about, and maybe feel a little better after letting things off their chest.


Yes, I think raising awareness of Fraud is very important, but as an operator it's one of many  things about the job that need to be addressed.


Quite frankly, I'd rather work to get these little punks that make operaters harass people and say "fuck" 200 times off the system.

Do you refer to the chosen "name" of the domain-name? I don't know why exactly this one was chosen but I reckon that it was based on the current url (which will coexist along with this domain).



I don't think that this will affect the way (or if) potential viewers visit the forum.

Don't worry Smooth, the forums aren't going to change. By having that new address redirect to our site more operators will be able to find us. At least in theory. Anyway, congratulations on your freedom from relay hell!
