I tried to post this under another thread but it didn't seem to work.  So here goes again. The Admins can delete the other post under Nigerian Scams.  I relayed a call for Mrs. Rev. Engr. Fraudster P. Idiot to somebody with a Barcalounger for sale.  While typing, or maybe just copy & pasting, their schpiel Mrs. Rev. Engr. Fraudster Idiot asked about "HIS/HER HEALTH condition and last asking price." HAHAHAHA!!! They wanna know the HEALTH of a piece of furniture!! Needless to say the voice term was confused. I don't think they took the call seriously.

How does one determine the HEALTH of a Barcalounger?  How does one determine if a Barcalounger is a HE or SHE anyway? Did the fraudster even know what a Barcalounger was? Or were they just copying & pasting their template into their AIM window?

P.S. It wasn't actually a Barcalounger, but another large piece of furniture. You get the idea, though.

I had just the opposite happen the other day -- someone making a call for puppies, and enquiring as to the "current condition and price."

I thought "current condition and price" was standard scammer lingo. This topic amused me because it was unusual!  Has anyone else noted that the scammer will usually type their standard schpiel in all caps and then have the name of the item in lower case or vice versa? We pretty much know they're just copy and pasting their schpiel anyway.

For example "am calling to enquire if your DINING ROOM SET are still for sales qq ga ga"

I have always amused myself with the thought of voicing the lower case text conversationally and then saying the upper case text in a robotic manner.  Hehehe!
