Sorry, but I agree with Scallopina. There are some people who, even after being warned by a lead op, continue the call. Why? Because all they're thinking about is $$$$$$$$. I know of at least one conversation I heard in the background where the guy said "Who care if it's not his credit card, it's 3000 bucks!". He didn't give a damn WHO'S money it was, as long as HE got that money. (I don't think he was smart enough to know that they'd investigate the charge and HE would most likely have to pay it back). Apparenlty, a strange phone call, a warning, and a lot of nonsense, do not deter people. Hello? Why don't these people at least call the credit card company to check on the card they got before they run it? They could say "Hey I got this relay call...etc etc" or they could insist that the buyer give the address and phone # associated with the card and call to verify. Hello? Nobody does that?
Honestly, some people have no common sense, and I was DUMBFOUNDED at what people would believe. Why would someone call a little mom and pop shop to order 200 tshirts? They can't get those for wholesale somewhere, or online for waaaaay cheaper than that? And how did someone in another state even FIND that store? Don't they wonder about those things? I'm sorry, but there are a lot lot lot lot of articles and information distributed among small businesses about nigerian scams. Most of the people who fall for these scams are seeing $$$$ and not using their brains at all.
